East Ham resident Stephen Rajan has died in his sleep. Fifty-nine-year-old Stephen had dinner with his children after his wife left for work and was perfectly healthy. He was found dead by his wife when she returned from the night shift.
His wife Susan is heartbroken. His children Riya and Sharon are devastated at the loss of their beloved dad.
As the news came to light members of the Indian Orthodox community came forward to help the family.
Stephen, who was born in Meenadom in Kottayam, arrived in the UK during the early part of 2000. He was an active member of the Indian Orthodox Church in Brockley and in the local community in East Ham. However, during the last couple of years, the family was keeping away from friends and acquaintances and staying socially inactive.
The funeral will take place on 14th December with service at the Indian Orthodox Church in Brockley, London at 10:30 am followed by burial at the City of London Cemetery in Manor Park at 12:30 pm.
