Karur Soman gets URF World Record title

Noted writer Karur Soman has been admitted to Universal Record Forum world title. The UK-based writer made the record for ‘most books published by a single person in a single day.
Universal Records Forum was founded in 2014 to encourage every record holder and give them the deserved platform to showcase their talent, stamina, endurance and achievement in front of the world.

The record was examined and checked by a committee comprising of URF World Records CEO Dr. Saudeep Chatterjee, International Jury Dr. Guinness Sunil Joseph, Ambassador Dr. Bernard Hole (Germany), Asian Jury Dr. Johnson V Idikula. A certificate and a seal of approval was then presented to Karur.

Mavelikkara Charummoodu born Daniel Samuel, better known by his pen name Karur Soman, lives in London with his family.

During his high school years, he entered the literary world through radio plays and through a Malayalam weekly children’s magazine “Balarama”, published by Malayala Manorama

He has written sixty-three works in the fields of drama, musicals, novels, children’s novels, English novels, English stories, short stories, historical stories, poetry, song, essay, travelogue, biography, autobiography, science, technology, sports and tourism during the last forty years. In 2012, he reported the London Olympics for a Malayalam newspaper.

All his books, published since 1985, have their title beginning with the Malayalam letter “Ka”.

He is also the Editor-in-Chief of Lima Online World Library.
